About this matcha
From Shizuoka, Japan — for your bar and kitchen
Premium is the matcha we built for working bars and kitchens: bright, deep-green colour that holds up in milk, a smooth finish in iced drinks, and enough character to carry baking and no-bake desserts. It is bead-milled for a fine, consistent powder.
The 1kg trade bag is the most economical way to run a matcha menu. At list price it works out to about $0.39 per gram — roughly $0.77 for a standard latte using 2g.
Like all WA MATCHA, it is made by Ryutsu Service Co., Ltd. in Kikugawa, Shizuoka — a fourth-generation tea house founded in 1905 — from leaf shaded for at least thirty days before picking. Read about our origin.
