Founder's note · 創業者メッセージ
A promise of authenticity from a Victoria local
Moving to Victoria, I was struck by how deeply this community has embraced matcha culture. As someone born and raised in Japan, I felt a calling — a responsibility — to bring authentic matcha to the cafés and businesses that are shaping this city's food scene.
Our matcha is made by a fourth-generation tea house in Shizuoka, founded in 1905. When I introduce WA MATCHA to café owners, I'm not just offering a product; I'm sharing a carefully documented story of cultivation, craft and origin.
Living here, I understand the needs of local businesses. I'm not a distant supplier — I'm your neighbour. When you choose WA MATCHA, you gain a dedicated ally who is invested in your success.
